What are Primary Sources?

Definition 1: A report of original research written by the researcher

Definition 2: Original manuscripts, contemporary records, or documents created at the time an event occurred (newspaper accounts of an event, diaries, correspondence, etc.)

Green Book
Provides program descriptions and historical data on a wide variety of social and economic topics including poverty, families with children, child support and the elderly. Chapters of the new 2008 Green Book are released on the House Committee on Ways and Means website as they become available.
