The Learning Commons Student Worker Training Guide

This guide is designed to help Learning Commons student workers know what to do when working at the Perry Library Help Desk.

Helping Patrons with Testing Services

Students frequently come to the help desk to request scantrons (blue or green) and test booklets (blue or green). The Learning Commons receives donated testing materials from the SGA. We give them to students at no charge; we simply need their ODU ID, and we log the interaction in a binder.

We sometimes run out of these materials, especially scantrons. When we run out, please direct patrons to the following locations for acquiring their materials. Note that prices for materials vary across locations.
