ODU Libraries Virtual Book Displays

A collection of reading lists produced by the Libraries on various topics.

Faculty and Student Discussions on Race Relations, Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Activism

ODU Libraries hope to connect our services and resources with voices across campus as we launch Conversations with the Monarch Community: A Virtual Space for Sharing Perspectives and Resources. The virtual engagement sessions will be hosted by members of the Libraries and will highlight the expertise and professional experiences of faculty, administration, and staff, along with student perspectives regarding specific, timely issues.

During our first session on October 22nd, 2020, we ask how faculty and students are holding discussions on race relations, diversity, inclusion, and social activism as course assignments and projects may reflect on the tensions and call for change within our current social climate.

This book display was created to compliment the aforementioned topic of conversation. All materials are available through ODU Libraries, whether online or physically available in Perry Library or a branch library.
