Using Books

Use the ODU Library Catalog to find out what books ODU library owns
For books about a particular topic, use Keyword and Subject options.  For specific books, use title or author option.

Some useful subject headings:  discourse analysis; english language--study and teaching; grammar, comparative and general; language acquisition; pragmatics; second language acquisition; sociolinguistics

The books are shelved using the Library of Congress classification system. The call number for linguistics in general is P 1-1091. Specific languages will be found as follows:
