Find Books at ODU

The Library of Congress classification for general literary history and collections is PN. Works of specific national origin will be found within other classifications, e.g.,

PA     Classical Literature
PL     Colonies Asian, African Literature
PQ     Romance Literature
PR     English Literature
PS     American Litedrature
PT     Germanic Literature

LOCATION: Books with call numbers beginning with P are shelved on the 4th floor. Perry Library Floor Maps.

Contains records of any type of material cataloged by OCLC member libraries. Includes manuscripts written as early as the 11th century.

Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a free service that allows you to request journal articles, books, and other needed research materials that are not available at ODU. The pick up and return location for all Interlibrary Loan materials is the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor of Perry Library. The Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services Unit is located in Perry Library, Room 1208 (1st floor), and staff are available to answer ILL related questions.
