In celebration of ODU's 5th Annual Public Arts Festival, Bubble Fest, featuring art installations by Atelier Sisu, an art design studio based in Sydney, Australia, ODU Libraries is pleased to present this list of books, electronic resources, and films related to and inspired by the themes of Bubble Fest.
Exploring the intersection of art and architecture, Bubble Fest is an immersive, light and sound environment that represents the idea of ephemerality and transience in the form of larger-than-life bubbles. Conceptualized during the Covid-19 pandemic, it conveys the mixture of feelings, not only of living in a bubble, but of needing to live for each moment: in other words, recognizing the fleeting beauty of the ephemeral.
