Before You Start

Welcome to ODU Libraries Information Literacy Tutorials.

You may access these tutorials via Blackboard.

Some things to keep in mind before you start:

  1. These tutorials work best if you are using Firefox or Chrome. If you are using a different browser, you may want to switch before logging in to Blackboard.
  2. Make sure your browser is set to allow pop-ups, as the tutorial player will open in a pop-up window.
  3. Do not close the second pop-up "launcher" window that opens behind the pop-up player (see image below), as this window allows your score to be properly recorded.
  4. If you need to get credit for completing the tutorials, you will have the option to print your results at the end of each tutorial. You may also take a screen shot of your results page to email to your instructor. Here are tips for taking a screenshot on a PC or a Mac.
