The purpose of this guide is to provide information about library assessment, and links and instructions for reporting. Regular completion of stats is appreciated! We use this information to report to external agencies such as ACRL and ODU's Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Assessment, and to inform decision making and advocacy.

LibAnswers/Ref Analytics

RefAnalytics is a module within LibAnswers that can be used for reporting research support statistics. Each department has a dataset to use for reporting stats. 

LibInsight

We use LibInsight for data collection, importing data, and dashboard creation.

About Assessment

Contrary to popular belief, assessment is not an exact science and it is not always quantitative. You may sometimes encounter a scenario that doesn't fit perfectly into any box. Use your best judgement in regard to if it should tracked and if so, where.
