Writing Studies & Rhetoric

TIPS

Off Campus Access:  You'll need to authenticate yourself as an ODU user to get access to research materials we provide from offcampus. Your MIDAS ID and password will provide access.

Search subject databases to find articles: If you are trying to decide which database is appropriate for your research, look at the list of databases listed on the Articles tab.

Take advantage of ALERT services in our databases to stay current on articles being published on your topic.

Search the main search box on the Library's homepage for books and other materials owned by ODU, whether print or electronic. Use WorldCat for those not owned by ODU.

Sign up to use Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad). This a free (and fast) service that allows you to request journal articles, books, and other needed research materials that are not available at ODU.

Mange your citations with EndNote.

Ask A Librarian:  Feel free to contact me (kvaughan@odu.edu).  Or, use chat, email, or phone to talk to another librarian.
