ODU and EVMS Library Integration FAQ

Will EVMS faculty and students be able to borrow materials from ODU Libraries? 

• EVMS faculty will be loaded into Banner and Alma effective July 1, 2024.

  • EVMS faculty may borrow materials from the three ODU campus libraries (Perry Library, Hofheimer Art Library, and Music Library) with an ODU ID card during open hours.

• EVMS students will also be loaded into Banner and Alma effective July 1, 2024.

  • EVMS students may borrow materials from the three ODU campus libraries (Perry Library, Hofheimer Art Library, and Music Library) with an ODU ID card during open hours.

Will ODU faculty and students be able to borrow materials from Brickell Library? 

Yes. ODU faculty and students may apply in person at Perry Library for a Virginia Tidewater Consortium (VTC) borrowing card. For more information, visit ODU's VTC Circulation Policies guide.

Will ODU and EVMS libraries have a combined catalog/borrowing system?

Not at first. This will be a project that requires significant staff time and expense, and it will require at least a year or more of planning.
