The purpose of this guide is to introduce faculty and graduate students to the services, resources, and research support available via the ODU Libraries. If you don't find what you're looking for here, contact us for help!
Faculty Emeriti: Faculty emeriti have access to the same library resources and services as current faculty. These services include off-campus access to electronic resources, interlibrary loan, and borrowing privileges. For many of these services a current Midas account is required for login. If a faculty member or faculty emeritus has not used his/her Midas account for some time, the account can be reactivated at: https://www.odu.edu/ts/access/. This page explains the Midas account and provides links for resetting a password, etc.
Faculty emeriti and other retired faculty have access to electronic library resources without a Midas account at public stations in the Learning Commons in Perry Library.
The guides are designed to help you get started in specific areas of research. Don't see what you're looking for? Check out the full listing of our subject guides!
ODU Digital Commons is a service that brings together the university's scholarly and creative works in a centralized repository with the aim of providing online open access to and preservation of these works.
