The theme for Women's History Month 2006, Women: Builders of Communities and Dreams, created a perfect opportunity to honor women of Old Dominion University who have contributed to a sense of community and have encouraged dreams in others.
The exhibit highlights campus departments and organizations that have built a sense of community and inspired students and employees, including the Women's Studies Department, Women's Center, University Women's Caucus, and Women's Athletics. The exhibit also features women who have achieved "firsts" for ODU.
